Along the way I grew an audience of 900k+ followers across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, sharing my process and proving that artists can reach (and be hired by) global brands without sacrificing their voice.
When I started teaching college students, I recognized the same fears I once had: feeling lost, confused, and unsure how to turn creativity into a career.

My Latest Passion Project
I built First Day Freelance after years of trial, error, and late-night doubt. When I first started as an illustrator, breaking into the industry felt impossible and I spent years wondering if something was wrong with me. In 2021, while teaching digital painting as an adjunct professor, I saw that same fear in my students—the uncertainty of post-grad life and the question of how to turn art into income. I knew then that creatives needed a clearer path, so I created the roadmap I wish I’d had: a course and community that show artists, designers, and small-business dreamers how to build a thriving, sustainable freelance career.
